The Sustainability Initiative has two main goals: to be a resource for designers striving to incorporate sustainable practices in their work; and to highlight sustainable design solutions within our chapter and the local design community. Showcasing efforts by local designers and vendors fosters dialogue, spurs ideas and raises awareness about better design practices.

We have gathered information about local, sustainable resources for printing, paper, packaging, manufacturing, distribution, and venue and catering options for events, all of which will be listed in the Resources section on the AIGA Portland website.
