Career Tools Breakfast Series: Transitioning from Print to Web

In an unfortunate turn of events (or ‘event’ to be exact), technology failed us at the January 19th Career Tools – “Transitioning from Print to Web.” Our sincerest apologies and gratitude to all in attendance (including guest speaker, Jason Duerr) for being such good sports.

Previous attendees who indicated they wanted to attend the rescheduled event have been contacted and space reserved for those who have RSVP’d (if you qualify and have not been contacted, please email programming@portland.aiga.org).

Roses are red,
Violets are violet, not freakin’ blue
dMob is at O’Brien’s
Meet fellow creatives, drinks are on you

AIGA Portland’s February dMob is guaranteed to not have any candy hearts with messages, teddy bears with red bows or chocolates laying in velvet. Just bring you, your love for the design community, and never forget the dMob mantra… “Can I buy you a drink?”

RESOURCE: Green Design Expo

SAVE THE DATE!

We already know that designers are very eager to infuse their work with green design thinking. As part of AIGA Portland’s sustainability initiative, this year’s vendor expo will focus on green design. It will offer designers an opportunity to carry out their sustainable design strategies more effectively by learning more about local products and services. In addition to the expo area, there will be breakout sessions and a keynote address focused on sustainable design.
