Cost: Free
Looking for an inspiration pick-me-up during these long, gray days of winter? Well, here’s your chance to get off the computer, crumple up that tired tri-fold, and learn some new techniques in folding and binding that will grab the attention of your audience.
Discover techniques that combine unique print design ideas with bookmaking forms, as well as the costs and parameters for making each piece a reality. This hands-on workshop is taught by local designer, educator and book artist Shawn Kathleen Simmons, and sponsored by Oliver Printing Company. Be prepared to play! We will provide all needed materials and folding tools.
Please bring your own cutting mat, cork-backed ruler and xacto knife with new blade (will be available in limited quantity if you do not have these items).
Sorry, this event has reached capacity.
